PhD Scholar, Shock Wave and Impact Research Laboratory
Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati
About Me
I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in the Shock Wave and Impact Research Laboratory, Civil Engineering Department, under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Padmanabha.
My research focuses on impact and shock dynamics in rock engineering and mechanics, with a particular interest in fragmentation processes and the effects of high strain rates.
I aim to enhance the understanding of rock and brittle geomaterials behavior under extreme conditions,
contributing to advancements in Defence, Mining, and Civil Engineering applications.
Research Interests
- Impact and shock dynamics
- Rock engineering and mechanics
- Fragmentation processes
- High strain rate effects
- Behavior of brittle geomaterials
- Applications in mining and civil engineering
